Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

the morning after the night before...

Just wondered how others cope with the previous night's excesses.. (and you are committed to a little ride on a sunday morning)
Too much booze- a disaster the next day
however if supplemented with...
E - no probs if I keep supping the electrolytes. I find I just keep pedalling like the duracell bunny.
Coke - Still a disaster but an aggressive, kill drivers type thing

45 mph descents after 2hrs sleep and a 'good' night sorts the men out (HTFU)

E and Coke? You're a lightweight. I prefer crack and heroin before I ride. HTFU.
