Google Maps Adds Walking Feature?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Google Maps Adds Walking Feature?

Would you trust this to plan some rides that would stay away from highways?

yeah i think it's pretty useful, but for most of my rides the "avoid highways" option works better (it gives more direct routes)

Yeah, it's not bad. You can also drag it if you know better for one portion. The walking feature isn't that new though
