New FSA compact bar: swap stem, too?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New FSA compact bar: swap stem, too?

I have a new FSA Omega compact bar on the way, which I'll be installing on my '04 Litespeed Firenze as a replacement for an ITM Super Over 330. Currently, I'm running a Felt ST stem (like this one, but in 6061 and cromoly hardware: http://www.feltracing.com/products/p...,1438&pid=8549), which I've been quite satisfied with (it was swapped in for the longer and heavier but matching ITM stem at the original purchase/fitting).

That said, I happen to have an FSA OS-140 stem sitting unused at home (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/M...?ModelID=22253). I'm wondering if I should swap it in to match the new FSA bar. On the one hand, I am of the "if it isn't broken, don't fix it" mentality. On the other, the stems seem to be of basically equal weight and quality, so there seems to be little cost to swapping.

So, is there any merit (aside from OCP points) to matching bar and stem? Has anyone used FSA vs. Felt stems and noticed any difference? Is it purely aesthetics?
