Anybody know anything about this bike??

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I found this on Craiglist and had never heard of this BIKE brand before. I don't know if it has actual roots to the car brand or not. It seems like a good bike for the price judging on the info the seller gives.

its pretty much a gmc walmart bike. annoying grip shifters with mountain bike gearing and heavy as hell wheels. not recommended. either buy the forge from target, or the under 200 gmc denali from walmart

I wouldn't touch this thing with a 10 foot pole.

I love this quote from the ad:"With roots reaching back to 1963, Lamborghini brings a heritage of motor vehicle innovation and dominance to the bicycle industry. Lamborghini offers a line of unique bicycles that remain true to cycling tradition while charging them with the lasting impression of Italian style."

I assume the lasting impression of Italian style the seller speaks of means that feeling you get once you realize you paid $100 too much for a department store bike.

Ya know, the website (I found it after a little digging) boasts some things that I would not expect on a "walmart" bike. They are STI shifters for example, not the ghetto grip shifters... here is the site.

https://www.lamborghinibicycles.com/bikes_classica.html

(the only reason I am asking is because for 250 bucks maybe I could upgrade a bunch of things on my bike, ie shifters, for less and sell unneeded for parts??)

Everything on this bike is the lowest of the low. The STI shifters are the sub-Sora shifters, and you don't want to go there. You would basically have to upgrade everything, including the frame (which looks awful by the way). If $300 is your budget you're probably better off getting a good used bike rather than this stinker.

As far as making upgrades and selling parts, you'd be hard pressed to find any buyers.
