Wanna Know what sucks
Soooooo, if you read any of my past posting, me and a local area railroad track was in a fight, and the railroad track won. I had some severe wrist problems so I went to the doctor. They took x rays and all and to their "trained eye" was all clear. So they called me and told me they sent my pics to a ortho sports doctor, and I have 3 fractures, 2 of which are hairline, and one I can't put any latteral weight on (meaning I can't ride or it will break further. SO 6 weeks of no riding, f that............. its Oregon, I only have like 4 weeks left!!!!!!!!!!!!!

master riding with one hand

It was cool when i was 12 to ride with one hand, but I did not ride for 50 miles or more per day either, I would look like and idit with my hand in the air! Wait, my wife already thinks I am an idiot, I am going riding! I will look like i am waving all the time!
|
its a win-win situation

That is a drag, didn't you just move here too?
Guess we should have warned you about the tracks. |
You can fix anything with duct tape.

not to sound like and idiot, but are aerobars a solution? that and riding with one hand around stoplights.
It's trainer time, my man. |
Wouldn't aero-bars (tri-bars) solve the OP's issue? It puts pressure on the forearm rather than the wrists.
|
I live in Seattle. You can ride year round. HTFU
|
You call yourself an Oregonian? HTFU!
Prefountain of Oregon U. would kick you in the nutz. Duct tape an old meat hook to the cast and hit the road. Whatever you do,don't forget and scratch yourself down there in the morning. |
no doubt, they suck, yeah, i just moved here, 3 months!
|
i don't call myself an oregonian, well yet, i am a north carolinian, and what is htfu or what ever?

I've got some kind of wrist strain here too. Haven't seen a doctor about it. Basically my wrist is normal when I hold it straight, but whenever I twist it, it hurts. And I can't put upper body weight on it, like when bracing an arm on the ground and reaching for a pencil or something. I'm not sure if it's a pinched nerve or what. But it doesn't keep me from riding, so I'll keep on riding.

Don't do more damage than you already have... let your body heal instead of making a problem worse.
