Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

new shoes

i bought road shows and speedplay pedals for the first time. I went into the store and tried on a pair of Cannondales. they didn't have the model i wanted but s very similar one. it seemed like the 42 would fit me great. i was told that the shoes should fit like a glove. i ordered the style and model i wanted online.
the Cannondale rp 2000. i just pout them on. they seem tight.
my question is..... How tight should they be? my toe doesn't touch the front but is close. the sides feel very tight to my foot. do they stretch at all? do i need one size bigger. When i was in the store the bigger size seemed to big....
any help. i know its hard to respond to this without actually seeing my foot....
thanks
