Today after saving up for 2 months I paid the balance on my new road bike and picked it up at my LBS. Was not planning on ridding today but when the wife and kids went away for the afternoon I donned my bibs I bought and hit the road.
I have been ridding for a long time, I commute everyday with my commuter bike, but this is the first time I ever wore the full lycra and was surprised by how things went.
The ride was over the GW bridge from NYC to the palisades park the road was hilly with almost no car traffic I rode for about an hour and a half.
The only complaint I can think of was the seat bag i bought seems to be of dubious quality. Great ride all around with nice weather.

I got a scott cr1 team
It comes with 105 group on a carbon frame
When I can figure out how to get pics of the new bike up I will post. I am going through the just happy to be here phase.
I go back to work on my workhorse commuter tomorow and wo9nder how bad will the old hybrid feel after riding around this weekend
