Nike Bibs
When I first got into cycling, one LBS had a couple of Nike Bibs on hand. I bought both of them and really like them.
However, now, I can't seem to find them anywhere. Has Nike dropped out of the Cycling wear biz? |
Yes, Nike dropped out at the end of 2007. I heard they couldn’t make their cycling division profitable given Lance bring retired. You can find still some of their stuff at some Trek dealers but when the inventory is gone, its gone for good. I stocked up on some shorts and an extra pair of shoes at a sweet price.

I have always been a fan of their 10//2 bib shorts. Too bad they are no longer made, but I have stocked up 3 pairs already. They are still available online and on eBay, but the sizes are hit and miss.

I like the fit and feel of the Nike bibs as well and am in search of a similar replacement.
For the fans of the Nike bib what other brands do you like? Thanks |
Well Lancelot is back....he is a NIKE BOY born and bred....it wont be long Nike briefs with 10/2 are up and about....

Trek was the distributor for the Nike clothing. When Nike pulled out Trek took over increasing their clothing line using pretty much the same manufactures.

I have a few spare pair of Nike 10/2 on the shelf. Try Ebay and search Nike bib's

I have bought a number of the Nike items on eBay...there is unused/new condition still trickling out onto eBay.
