Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I wonder if it would have an affect on the popularity of the races? I doubt it but in France they dance to a different drummer.

Speak for yourself.

People here may hate him because they suck at cycling in so many ways, and he's one of the greats. "I hate him because he has more talent in his pinky than I'll ever have at anything I try." Sort of like that...

Referring to the Ahnold comment.

Lance = awesome in many ways.

Definitely not with relationships though

If it took 18 posts for you to finally reveal your internet-obscured sarcasm, then my bet is you weren't being sarcastic originally and are now hiding behind the thin veil of humor to avoid further ridicule.

It's working.

Plus it requires less gas than bicycle racing.

Californians do, mostly because we've seen how much of a conservative twit he really was once he got into office and he could drop the pretense of having a soul.

I personally admire his indomitable drive and laser focus. If at all possible, borrow or buy George Butler's 'Arnold Schwarzenegger: A Portrait'. It's the best biography of Arnold I've seen, and it revolves around all that stunning black-and-white photography of his earlier days.
