My first century! on a flat surface though...
Just finished my first century ride today. I have to admit that although i'm in really good shape and started biking this year I should have practiced on intermediate distances before attacking the century. Before then my longest ride was 55 miles (...). I had no problems cardio wise but my legs almost gave out.
Can i still gloat even if most of the ride was essentially on a flat surface? thx for your imput guys! |
A century is a century congrats.

That's more than I've ever ridden... congrats!

thx for the support guys. It was actually the hardest physical challenge I've had to do (I almost quit at 75 miles) and I compete regularly in martial arts. No comparasion there!
