Tire Color for White Frame???
 

Hey Everyone,

What's everyone's opinion on tire color for a white/red specialed allez (picture attached) with a silver mavic wheelset? I'm thinking red or just plain black...

Would anyone have pictures or input? Thanks

Not totally red though. Something with red stripes is the route I would go.

If I have even a very slight amount of red on my frame, I would use red tires. On my Bianchi the letters B A T(I think) are in red, and the rest of the bike is celeste/grey/white. My tires are red Vittorias.

Thanks a lot for the replies. That's pretty much what I was thinking. I haven't seen too many white frames around so I really had no idea what the different tires would look like.

I think I'd probably go red in that situation as well....red striped atleast.

I seriously think this is a great idea.

People want see-through computers, see-through phones and see-through clothes, so why not see-through tires?

my white bike looks sweet with plain black tires. but i don't have any red, or any writing at all

red tires. oh, and red bar tape. and red bottle cages.

^Looks 8 times sexier with red. Which is saying a lot because that bike is :love:

black, colored tires are passé

That says it all. White. With white bar tape and saddle.

holy crap you have a bike stand in your kitchen. you are my role model. that is the single most bad azzedest thing i have ever seen. that's one of those things that makes me want to be single. i know that no woman would put up with that.

of those three i vote white.

the last pic of the pinarello with white/black stripe tyres looks freaking amazing. i really envy you.

imo most red on bikes ends up looking pinkish/oj-red. why arn't the reds darker like red Chinese lacker? its so hard to match red because of all the different shades look so different.
