Garmin 305 question

How does one go about seeing how much time was spent in each zone with this bad boy? Is there any way other than looking at the little graph and counting?

Wow!!! Thank you. That is impressive stuff.

It show it to you in the software that comes with it in Time and Distance. ZoneFive stuff is nice, but I had too much stuff and it would not import correctly and I did not want to manually edit.

so you never got that squared away?

I had some funny stuff going on with some of the history I imported from TC. I re-exported from TC and it imported the runs that were messed up.
Did you try to re-export from TC then re-import into Sportracks?
Hope that work for you......

This was a question a friend wanted me to ask, but after seeing that software I'm considering buying a Garmin of some sort for myself.

I just use Training Center. It was free and came with the 305. What more does one need?

a software that actually display road maps and [rather than] just a big grey blob. it's also nice to be able to manually create splits.

I never understood the need for displaying ride routes on a map but figured everyone used the free ones that are available all over the place online (including Garmin's own free Motion Based service).

As for splits? Yeah, I could see that. Personally, I just use that little lap button that also came included with my Edge. :P

yes, i do sometimes use the lap button (e.g. when i'm doing hill repeats) but most of the time i'm too busy hammering that i can't be bothered taking my hand off the handlebar to press that button.
