Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thanks umd

Your post(the one where you proved me wrong on the Rival FD trim ) a while back convinced me to finally get a Force FD on my Red equipped Lynskey.
I am amazed at how much faster the Force shifts. The chain just pops onto the big ring, much faster than my Rival and I thought that was pretty good.
It kind of ticks me off having to spend more money to "downgrade", it was worth it though. Thanks

edit for spelling

Happy to help. I love Red, but the Ti FD cage just isn't strong enough. Just goes to show that sometimes the engineering suffers when trying to shave weight... FWIW, I was on my TCR w/Force for about a month and it reminds me just how much nicer Red is overall, otherwise.
