Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

shipping is ridiculously cheap, only $45? 3-5 days?
You can't do that with FedEx Ground in continental US.

Wow! Someone from Central Illinois talking trash about the South...irony...stupid folks live everywhere, as evidenced by the fact that some choose to live in Central Illinois!

I just don't know. I would be leery that is maybe counterfit. For one thing, I don't see any Chinese symbols on it. Other thing is...I have heard that when they ship they pack the frame in rice and it smugs the clearcoat.

I have that same frame . . . I bought mine from Bike Island on the web. It's been great. Couldn't be happier with it. Light, stiff and pretty compliant.

I can attest to this. Sometimes you end up with rice in the frame, fork. Royal PITA.

Chinese are coming on in frame building. Rice is the new frame saver for CF.

the Bottecchia frame on bikeisland is in 50,53,55,58 sizes. this one is 54. actually, the top tube looks to be matching the Bottecchia 55cm frame.

wish i had actual reviews.
