Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Focus bikes

So I have read about team milram switching to bike company called Focus bikes out of Germany.

I guess my question is, does any one no how to get a hold of a Focus bike outside of Europe. I'm really intrested in getting one, since i'm upgrading to a carbon bike. And if any one has any information on how to obtain a Focus in the states or how to get one into the states would be very helpful.

Try dropping these boys a line...

They do some great 'value' top end bikes with Red/DA/Record

Always very well reviewed in Cycling Plus (UK) magazine, which tends to be objective.

I considered their cross bike (until I realised that I didn't really need a cross bike )

Not really because I don't know who makes the frames. Besides, your LBS would be seriously fed up if you rode one of their bikes to see what another bike from another retailer is like!

Try them direct to see if they have a dealer in your part of the world:

I tried contacting focus directly, and for some reason their site never lets a message go through for me. I'm not sure if its on my end or on their's. But thanks for the help guys

Nice frames!

Actually I think this "Focus" (yes, there is a bike there!) is really a Walser.
