Fondriest Buying Advice
I came accross a beautiful Fondriest Carbon Level frame with Mizuno fork and a completely unique paintjob in an LBS a day or two ago, and the shop owner offered it too me for $1300 (Canadian).
Does $1300 (Cnd) sound like a respectable price to those of you who know about these frames, or should I never return to this particular LBS again?
Cheers, and sorry for making such a typical first post,
c.w.

New? Sounds like a screaming deal to me, especially if it's one of the anniversary TF1's.
BTW, the Pedal Force RS2 that a bunch of BFers got via group buy this spring look a lot like one of the Fondriest models. I like mine a lot.

The Carb Level is an older frame. As I recall, they had a good reputation, and were considered stiff. Older Fondriests usually have pretty wild paint jobs. Btw, this is not an ancient frame. Fondriest went through a change in ownership, and I think this is a pre-change frame.

Thanks for the advice you three!
It seems like I only have one choice...buy it, scrape off the cable guides, etc. and build it up as a fixed gear!(jk)
Thanks again, I'll post photos if I manage to get this beauty.

I had the carb level pro for a couple of years, amazing ride...
You should try to bring down the price a lil bit though, since its probably 02-03 model.
