Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Road Racing Requirements

Hey I'm gonna do cyclocross next fall, and found a used 2003 bianchi axis for sale...but i wanna do the junior road races next summer too, is it possible to use the bianchi axis for road racing too if i put skinnier tires on it? or is there rules against using cyclocross bikes for road racing?

I have one. With road wheels/tires on, it's still a great bike. Just a little heavy. But a very versatile bike.

The bike's fine, but make sure you comply with the junior gearing requirements (Nothing taller than 52x14 or comparable).
