Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

because I was wearing plain black cycling shorts and a tight black tee shirt that said italia in Italian flag colors

I am in no way Italian, and the bike I was riding was Japanese, thus I was being a complete poseur.

Take this as a warning. Don't be a poseur.

are you still banged up in the hospital or have you come out now ? If you're still there, maybe you can ask the nurses there to set you up on a roller or something

I've been out for a while. I've just been sitting around, bored, slowly feeling better. In a few weeks I can ride the trainer

You say that like you aren't involved or something. Nice red star, btw.

Aww that's kind of funny.

I hear ya. I wear a jersey I got from a Seattle thrift store of Gregg's, but I don't live in Seattle, and I don't ride half the sponsors on the jersey. But $5 for a $70 Volver jersey.
