Fall ride pics - Michigan

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

thanks for the pics. Michigan is beautiful... Loved canoeing on the Muskegon.. 15 mph on the leaves. It did not seem to affect your bike's traction.?

Two of your pics look like pics on the trail's web page.

going over the leaves weren't as bad as i thought, traction was fine. the only thing that made me shaky was not seeing sticks and bumps underneath them which can catch you off guard

Cool to see a roadie in Big Rapids, I only saw one other rider down there last year when I lived there for school.

The brutal winters are what keeps the riffraff away. Be thankful.

If it were nice here 365, we'd be over-run by knuckleheads. Instead, we just get them in the summer.

I'd like to be in Michigan if only winter was no more than 3 months. At most. ... And August was not so steamy.

It must be early in the morning. I first read the name on the frame and said in my head "da-wes" - and thought 'what a dumb name for a frame'.

Looks like a nice area to ride in! It would be nice to at least have a few trees around here!
