Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Our Representation, Member:Flet F5C

Look at this member that has been posting lately. Its almost a shame that he represents us cyclists.

First, he asks if he can strip his carbon bike. What kind of ****ing question is that?
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...395&highlight=

Second, he initiates discussion on stealing bikes.
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...989&highlight=

Third, he buys a pair of tubulars on a whim, and after the fact comes to us on help installing them.
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...988&highlight=

It shows that he is a recent member, but it can only get worse. Why is it that I find the quality of cyclists decreasing?

You "represent" me as much as that person does. I don't let it bother me.

The OP is very respectable here. Oh lookie here, haggingly and lowballin' another forum member. What about this, an incoherent thread-starting post?

Pi$$ off junior.

This happens in any population that follows a bell curve with respect to frequency and some attribute, in this case intelligence.

As the population gets larger, the extremes at either end of the bell curve get further apart. Say 100 active bike forums members results in the dumbest with an IQ of 80 and the smartest with 120.

We all know this site is getting more popular, so let's say now there's 500 active members, reaching a new low of 70 and a new high of 130. The average is still 100, but the dumb posts become increasingly dumb.

BTW, this rule holds for the OP.

Not aware the forum censor hasn't blocked piss. Of all words, doüche is blocked, so who knows what word is censored?

Why are you singling out somebody? I mean I had a little chuckle when I realized it was FLET vs. FELT back when I saw one his posts, but who cares? I like the diversity we have here on the boards... you need to chill out, relax and NOT start a thread at the expense of others.

I can't believe you actually went as far as citing links to his threads.... tsk tsk
