FSA SL-K crankset

OK, so I'm purchasing this basically new 2007 CAAD9 Optimo1, stock, which comes with the FSA SL-K crankset. I searched on the forums, and checked out RoadBikeReview and found some drastically differing opinions.
Some people state that one of the crank-arms(can't remember which, but it's always the same) becomes loose super easily and falls off a lot regardless of tightening.
Others have said that this is a resolved issue and that they have ridden on these cranks for quite some time.
Generally, they are said to be fairly stiff and not super heavy, though they don't excel at either.

Anyways, I was just wondering what the majority opinion of people on here is. Furthermore, when was this crank problem resolved? Thanks.

Swap for Ultegra/Dura-Ace, sell SLK on eBay.

I just got a set with bottom bracket, i only have 110 miles on them, good so far, and the weight of the cranks and bottom bracket came in at 552 grams.

I picked up an Ultegra 10 speed crank for $149 on this ebay store (BB included!:D). Plenty to choose from and now down to $131. (3 pages)

Nicely boxed, tracked and when I recievied it, I inspected it. Sweet, not a scratch or flaw. Works great. I should have swapped out the stock crank long ago!:thumb:

PBK never has anything in I need in stock!:(

Is it the ISIS or MegaExo version?

based on what i've heard, i wouldn't buy a NEW fsa crankset, but ride it, and if there are problems you can replace it. What's the issue?
