Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Whoa... TIME!!!!

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/bik/885693024.html is it really the deal of the century?

Don't know anything about TIME except for the fact that they're really boutique... is this as insane of a deal as this guy makes it out to be?

inspected the high res pics appears the chains off for one reason or another...

I wouldn't call TIME frames "really boutique." My rule is - if you can't tell if it is a smokin' deal or not, best to stay away.

Time is regarded as the best carbon frame manufacturer by many people. It's my dream to own a VXRS. They own and run their own manufacturing plant in France, and are known for making Cannondale's Slice forks as well as others.

Can you tell me something more about slice built by Time? I thought they are built in asia.
I have both a vxrs and a slice, if they are all from one factory~~ that would be funny

It's a more beautiful looking with the edge racer and vxr ulteam than VXRS I think. I dont like the way VXRS integrate the seattube, I also saw edge racer and vxr ulteam, it's much more beautiful with a delicate time seatpost.
I heard from my retailer that the most sold frame is vxrs. Coz you have to wait for 3 monthes to buy anyother Time frames, but vxrs are always in stock.

It's a 51 frame, that should disqualify about 98% of BF members me thinks..

It seems like a good deal if it's legit. I'd be worried about:

1) warranty
2) stolen?

time

why not ask the seller about the chain being off. can't you see by the photos the cassette is not on the rear wheel?

Time are hand built. They are the highest quality hand built frames in the world right now.

Shill!

Follow garysol's link above - "Time is the best in the world" from the seller definitely isn't an objective opinion.
