Cervelo. Poser ride or elite bicycle gear?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Canadian bike company that takes credit for the work riders did in winning races. I wouldn't be foolish enough to spend loads of money on a frame made in China when I can get one for cheaper, even North Bergenites aren't that foolish.

At least that's what I think of myself when I'm on mine. All the other posers (poseurs?) only wish they were of my elite poser status.

It looks like we'll spend the next four years catching up.

A bike is a bike. The rider determines weather the bike is a wannabe bike or a useful tool.

Anyway, no doubt they're a fine enough bike.
Though, from what I saw over my last visit to NY, they are cheap as dirt.
Two to one vs. any other brand, for sure.

Shut up and ride.

I always saw Trek as the poseur ride. Maybe it's a regional thing.

So, will 'poser' replace 'guads' as the latest de rigueur term o' the week?

BTW, did somebody say Cervelo??? I find it very comfortable on the Aero Bars.

I see them around town atop silver Audis or on the back of black Mercedes SUVs, but I can't recall seeing one actually ridden.

It's not the bike's fault that it's owner is a poseur.

A buddy of mine (Cat 2, and most likely would be cat 1 right now if it wasn't for a discovered heart condition) owns one with Corima carbon wheels, and that bike is gorgeous.
Way too many Argons around my area. It makes it easy to stand out riding anything else.

Nope, it's 'HTFU'. That horse has been kicked 1,000,000 too many times on BF.
