Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

what kind of music...

do you listen to, if you listen to any, while you ride? Heavier stuff? Country? Rap? Bluegrass?

I don't listen to music while on the bike, but if I did...

Best played on a fast, winding descent.

I always listen to music when riding. My headphones go on (in) before my helmet does. This morning and afternoon, it was Yo La Tengo and Death Cab for Cutie, respectively.

I don't listen to music, but as a middle school music teacher, whatever I was recently rehearsing with my classes is usually stuck in my head while I ride, especially if the tempo matches my cadence.

No music. Just the wind blowing by my ears and the hum of my tires. That's all I need.

It seems to be a lot of Indie rock. I like screamo, it seems to amp me up to push harder.

No hxc music? Escape the Fate? Alesana? I set my friends on fire? Blessthefall? A skylit drive?

I like Death Cab too, it seems to make rides more interesting and meaningful while I ride.
