What a morning ride

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What a morning ride

I wake up this friday morning bout 8:00 and roll out of bed around 9ish only to find my roommate and ex gf passed out on seperate couches from a hard night of partying the night before. Wanting to leave the atmosphere I head out on a 20 mile out and back ride that takes a little over and hour to do with strong head winds on the return. Get a nice core workout in the middle of the ride. And come back to find them both still passed out on their couches around 1030 am. I jump in the shower quick and hear my ex leave, and while I write this at 4pm my roommate is still sleeping on the couch. A great ride today and being able to see other people feel ****ty since they are not getting the benefit that I did this morning enjoying the day and not hating my life from partying to hard for the 3rd night in the week already. This are the days that I feel I am taking complete advantage of...especially with it being in the 40's with snow in the forecast and myself working a double shift and making about 150 in tips today. Gotta love it

their loss. I hate wind. My ride on Wednesday I almost turned around, well I actually did because I couldn't cross a road too much traffic. When I turned around I was about to keep at around 23mph and at 27 for like 2 minutes because of the wind. Ended up getting 42miles!!
