A guy in town has one, likes it very much. He had a Cervelo (R3 or Soloist, I forget) and much prefers the Giant.

Bikes...That is a very relevant suggestion, but, no we can't just rob any ship, even one loaded with frames. Unless that is, if they were already seized by pirates which case it's free game!

Gsteinb...We're talking about only fighting pirates who have seized ships carrying bikes/parts. Extremely relevant.

I love mine, but it just arrived Friday so I haven't had much of a chance to put any miles on it. I really enjoyed the advanced 3 I test rode for awhile though.

I ended up with the Advanced 2. I ended up swapping out the ultegra though for centaur and upgraded to some dt swiss 1450s.

I mess around with one at Interbike and must add that the frameset is pretty amazing. Perhaps one of the best I saw at the show. Just stunning. Those boxy tubes are just wild. I don't have any real time ont he bike so I cannot say how it compares to anything else but very nice frameset indeed.

I've heard that the TCR Advanced has a replaceable derailleur hanger and metal dropouts (like this year's SL) but I haven't been able to confirm this. Anyone know for sure?

Replaceable metal derailleur hanger is a positive. Anyone know the weight on one is, particularly the Advanced 2?

I should probably know this, but, what's the difference between the advanced, SL and anything else in the line?

TCR Advanced SL...Top of the line frame, higher level carbon fiber-T800, and manufacturing technique, most models have ISP
TCR Advanced...Lesser carbon fiber-T700, manufacturing technique cheaper, supposedly still stiffer than the '08 with the higher level T800 carbon, no ISP
They sell the TCR Alliance or something too which looks like the same frame from previous years

TCR Advance 09
Fast, very stiff.
I had a CAAD9 08 and I can really feel the difference.
Weight: 16.1 lbs as shown on pic
Full Ultegra SL
Ksyrium SL
