Giordana size

I did a search, but couldn't find an answer to this particular size question.

Unfortunately, I have seen different sizing charts for Giordana bibs, and depending on the chart I am either a small or a medium. I figured I would ask to see if anyone who was similarly sized could give me some feedback. I'm a hair under 5'8", hover between 138 and 141, and have a 28" waist. Should I go small or medium? These will be my first pair of bibs, so I don't have any experience with straps, but all of my shorts (Pearl Izumis) are small. However, I know that the straps throw a wrench in the works, so I wanted to make sure before buying.

Definitely go with small. I am 6 foot with a 30-33 inch (fatness varies) inseam and wear a medium in their bib-shorts, which fits me great. You may even want an XS if they make one. See if you can try some on first.

I own two pair of their Laser shorts, which have the same chamois and fit as the top of the line Formas, but are cheaper, probably due to less fancy construction. I also have a bunch of Castelli stuff and like these a lot better. They stay put and don't have those stupid scorpion stickers everywhere...

It sounds like you'd maybe want an XS which is what I'd love to find, but can't outside of custom orders. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

Definitely not medium.

I'm 5'6", 125 lbs, 28" waist. Giordana size small fits me just fine. Pearl Izumi's small feels too big to me.

Small. I am 5'9", 150lbs, and with a 34" waist (I think). I wear a medium.

I'm 6', 32" waist. I wear a medium. It's comfy, but definitely not loose.

I'm 5'9", 160lbs. with a 33" waist and I wear a L in the Silverlines.

I am 6'4", 178 lbs, 32" waist. I have a Large/Large kit, and the jersey is fine for training, but too lose for racing. My new team kit is Giordana, and I ordered Large bibs and Medium jersey.

I wear an XL in Pearl Izumis. Had to get a 2XL when I bought Giordanas. The fit is almost exactly the same.

Do the straps dig into your shoulders? I don't think I'd want the straps on my L to be any tighter.

Yeah, I've got a 3-week old collar bone fracture, and they're a bit too tight for that. I wore the kit today for an hour ride and the commute -- and left the strap on that shoulder without too much trouble.

When not injured, I like a bit of shoulder tension. I agree though, I wouldn't want them any tighter

gita sports has the correct sizing table

I just bought some in a medium and think if anything they could do with being a little tighter. I'm 5'10" and 145 with a 29" waist (ish).

Go small.

Giordana Small Bibs

If you wear a small in Giordana bibs I can make you a deal on a bunch of smalls. I have smalls coming out of my ears in a couple of models.
