carbon road bars - fsa k-wing? k-force?
i am about to buy a new carbon bar, and i'm trying to decide if the 40 grams extra on the fsa k-wing is worth it over the k-force. does anyone have any experience with these bars?
also itm and 3ttt make really nice carbon bars - comments on these would be welcome as well!

i have test ridden a bike with the k-wing
it has an "ergo" construction. it limits your hand positions a bit and typically you dont wrap that part of the bar but it is VERY comfortable
i am pretty vibration sensitive and i liked the way it really decreased road vibration ...suprised me in fact....and i was going to install it on my new bike
however the owner of the lbs found an even better one at the interbike show...the new 3T oversized carbon bar...not sure of the exact model... but it reportedly is the one mario cipollini now uses
it is even better... i prefer the oversized bar...and wrapped with cinelli gel bar tape...it really helps my hands. it also offers a lot more hand positions than the k-wing.
i would really recommend you try the f-wing or any ergo bar before buying...the feel is quite different if you are used to a round bar. it is really nice but may not be for you...i know a few folks who dont like it
i dont think you could go wrong (except for the price ...$$$$) with either the 3T or k-force though

Yup I just bought it and I LOOOOVE it. 3T carbon more with over size 31.8 and ergo design. Not to mention the beautiful bag it comes in. No flex felt what so ever and I am a big rider. I bought it over the zipp, fsa, modolo etc.... You wont be sorry.

While you're looking you should check out the Cinelli Ram Bars. They are integrated so you can ditch your stem too. If you're runnung Aluminum the carbon will dampen the ride considerably.
