Has anyone in the US ordered from Ribble?
Ok so I have ordered a bunch of stuff from PBK and have no issue ordering from overseas...just want to check out if Ribble is as good as PBK. Their prices on the Campy components I am looking for right now beats PBK by quite a bit...but shipping isn't free.
Anyway I am thinking of placing an order and would love to hear some feedback from US buyers.
Thanks.

I've ordered from them once, just a few weeks ago and had no problem. They use Parcel Force, just like Total Cycling. That parts arrived in the US mail in about a week. I got the new Campy 11 speed chain tool for $147, delivered. Pricey, but half the typical US asking price.
They do not respond well to e-mails though. Keep an eye on credit card charges. If they charge your card, then the parts should have shipped.
Total Cycling charged my card for over $1000 in parts, but didn't have the cassette I ordered. I sat around for two weeks waiting, before contacting them. It took three e-mails over three days to get a repsonse. TC is fine if they have what you want. They just goofed and charged me before the parts were ready to ship and never sent an e-mail advising me of the problem.

I have used Totalcycling for an Assos order and they were just fine...like I said no issue ordering from overseas just looking for direct feedback on Ribble.
So thanks for the feedback...there is one in the plus column.

I ordered from Ribble over the summer. Two pairs of Giordana silverline shorts and a jersey when they were having their extra 15% off orders over £50 or whatever.
It was a great price. Shipping was quick enough - maybe 1 week or so. There was no tracking and no email indicating that stuff had shipped. I think i emailed to enquire about shipping status and never got a response. but the package arrived a day later so i never pushed the point.
Shipment was packed in a blue plastic bag. (i think this is typical of PBK/Ribble/TotalCycling). Shipping was a bit expensive, but factored in I still saved over 40% over buying everything in the US.
The only complaint I'd have is probably my bank's fault. I think i got charged twice for my order for two different amounts. The larger charge never got past the "temporary authorization" stage before getting removed, but it took almost 3 weeks for the charge to disappear.

I'm not in the US but have used Ribble and PBK quite a few times. Ribble's shipping charges are higher (moreso for you in the USA with PBK's free shipping there) but they are better at stocking things I want. Ribble orders have always arrived in a box, not just a blue bag. Recommended.

I got an excellent deal on an '09 Centaur group. They emailed me last week to indicate they "dispatched" the order.
