Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Ribble Shipping Cost and Import Duties

Could those of you who have ordered Assos FI 13 S5 Bibshorts from Ribble in the UK please comment on their shipping cost and whether US customs assess import duty on shipments of about $300 or so?

It seems to me that Ribble has the best price on Assos Bibshorts right now. Of course, I'll take that back If I have to take out a second mortgage to cover shipping cost

Thanks for all responses.

Regards,

To get the shipping cost just do the check out...before it charges you it will tell you the shipping costs. I checked the cost on the Centaur CF cranks I am thinking of getting and the shipping was about as much as the US discount got you from their normal prices. In my case about $35 to ship the cranks ($240 goes to $204 and then right back up to ship it).
