Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Clean Drivetrain

How did I ever let you get dirty.
My goodness, I finally ripped out the degreaser and lube after having my CAAD9 for 3 months and never cleaning it.

But wow, the difference was astronomical afterwards.

Took me an hour to clean everything though, and my chain is still dirty bah.

Yeah I bought it and kinda uh, let things go.
Never really prioritized it.
I couldn't get that chain completely clean for the life of me.

I do mine about every 2 weeks or so. Is pretty quick and easy when done often. I swa, a Sunday in Hell and saw a mechanic using a paint brush and some degreaser\oil to clean the drive train. That's what I now do, and it's quick and easy as.
