Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Much worse.

As much as I agree with you we both know that will never happen. It's like asking lemmings not to jump off the cliff....

haha, how about a sticky for all things lance? that would probably clean things up a bit. as namenda said, it'll get worse before it gets better.

Nope. Get used to it, it's only going to get worse.

I wouldn't mind as much, except that his fans are CONSTANTLY staring at his body and making comments about his pecs, his quads, etc.

As if this sport hasn't got enough of a gay image. I'm taking up figure skating.

makes me wonder if most cyclists are not gay, every lance forum i click on there is someone saying, OMG he is so ripped, how ever did he get those glutes in them shorts, or wow I never realized how big his arms are! I have no problems with gay people, just maybe there should be a sticky for all things lance + gay.

Here's a helpful hint for the whiney:

Mouse over the the thread title. You can read the text-tip summary and if you see the word 'Lance', 'Livestrong' or something that will clue you in that it's a 'Lance' thread - move along.

I have the amazing ability to only read what I want to.

Look, just because someone shaves their legs, wears tight lycra, lubes their ass and carefully scrutinizes the body of their male hero in every single picture the press publishes, and agonizes over every aspect of their personal life does not make them gay.

The word is bisexual.

She's going through a pyscho-thriller phase right now. We've watched Untraceable, Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal in the last 5 days. On Deck-- Red Dragon.

She's into pathetically bad psychological thrillers?
