I just got to work...

I have been cutting may way down my mountain all morning...

Trees down, power lines down, my road is starting to washout...

Winter fun...

But of course everyone still expects me to be at work...

Get a trainer...

My kids woke up and asked why all the trees are dead...

Why do you think so many damn yankees live in Miami.

Nice view though...

Hocam 12-12-08 08:41 AM

I'll post my essay in haiku form.

Ice makes him crazy
Zipps don't mix with the ice
I need them mo-ar

We're lucking out here in Nebraska so far. It's just been eff'ing cold, but going to be 45 tomorrow, so I can't complain. No snow or ice yet. Just across the river in Iowa, they've gotten some pretty bad winter weather. School closings, etc. I'm not jealous.

RazorWind 12-12-08 08:44 AM

Isn't this what you got that bikesdirect mountain bike you're so fond of for?

I'm unfortunately ill equipped for riding in weather below ~50 degrees, and it's been in the 30s in the mornings all week, so I've been off the bike too. :(

I should invest in some cold weather riding gear, but I'm trying to save as much as I can right now, so I don't have to live below this guy for the rest of my life:

If it would make you feel any better I could take pics of what it looks like from MY window (only 100 miles away from you) but I am still waiting for the storm to clear so I can drive home.

I will give Sam a warm and loving home. He can have his way with my dog BoBo whenever he likes.

Did you ever see "The Shining" with Jack Nicholson? You may turn homicidal before you're suicidal (warning to Mrs. PCad).
Any way, can I have the Zipps?

I was considering stripping the rear tire off, cutting it, and hanging myself with it. How appropriate.

triplebutted 12-12-08 08:55 AM

Don't want your zips but that's a great view! I just looked at your sig. My friend from lives in Chester. He's a P.O.

Homebrew01 12-12-08 08:58 AM

Now you're just talking crazy. There are so many better ways! Don't touch the Zipps.

Flynko 12-12-08 09:05 AM

I rode 22 miles Wed night at 9pm in short sleeves and no leg warmers. Come August when it is 102 with 99% RH I will be able to relate.
