Lighter this fall, and holding it. It doesn't hurt that I blew through 1000kJ in 59 minutes for my lunch ride today. WINDY and 33F.
|
You're all too fat for this sport and you know it.
|
I'm still in the neighborhood of 155lb +-3 (depends on time of day and how much h2o I have been drinking).
I don't think I have ever weighed more than 160 I don't own a scale. I would like to weigh 145ish... I would be ripped. I need to do crunches and ride more. |
Kindly refer to username...:o

I'm actually losing weight. I've been cranking it up a bit on my rides -- burning the calories.
|
Dropped about 7 pounds so far and looking at another 3 to get to 148 by Christmas.
Wife informed me that if I get down to 145 she is filing for divorce. That sets a floor. |

incorrect.. The more intense the workout the more calories and fat you will burn.
http://www.medicinenet.com/script/ma...ticlekey=77578 When I am in a period of intense training I need to eat a lot so that I can recover for the next day's ride. Then it is a struggle not to put weight on. In the late fall/early winter I back off on the intensity just enough that I can recover while eating a lot less. In that mode the pounds fly off while not taking a huge hit in power. This year I've lost about 15 lbs so far and looking to lose about 5 more. |

I've lost weight. Riding slower = burn more fat.
I've dropped 12 lbs in the last 6 weeks. I've also ridden 840 miles in the last 6 weeks. Another personal record for an off season. |

Loser of weight = Thanksgiving eve in the express line w/ Hungry Man turkey dinner, can of cranberry sauce, and single roll of toilet paper.
|
I gained a half pound.
|
I've lost 9 pounds in the last 4 weeks, according to my calorie counts I should be down only 6. A few more pounds and I won't be too fat for this sport anymore.

That's like saying 'a few more IQ points and I could win a Nobel Prize'. That's not going to happen either.

I've been getting fat since 1990

Hi,
I'll post so that I can try to shame myself into losing weight before the end of the year. I've gained 5-6 pounds since July and I'm not happy. |

yeah im not exactly sure what my weight was, or what is now...
but i do guarantee you that i have gained a few pounds |
My most recent excuse is Indiana joining in the insanity called daylight savings time. So much for my 6 am daily rides that kept the pounds off through the summer.
