BibShort Sizing Concerns...

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

BibShort Sizing Concerns...

...Is ther eanyone out there that has used Specialized and Champion Systems bibshorts?

I typically wear a Medium in Specialized and the sample pack that CS sent me did not include a Large, and he Medium as just a tad too tight for my track thighs. haha

Any advice would be appreciated.

ChampSys stuff fits out a bit smallish...
I had to get XL bibs...both for the legs and the length of the straps, and I'm no fatty...(6'1 and 180, right now)

Thanks, yeah, I'm 6'2" with some rather crazy long levers. The Mediums would be perfect if I was still at my uber fit 160. But I can't realistically stay at that weight for an extended period of time.

I'll give the large a shot.

I'm 5'11' and 135 lbs, and I fit into Champion System size medium bibs.

I wear Castelli bibshorts. I'm 6' 1", and 179 lbs. Tall and lanky. Yet I need an XXL in everything, when I buy Castelli.

Weird. I'm a Medium in some shorts (well, truth be told, between a M and a L)...

Moral(s) of the story: manufacturers vary a lot, AND you got to try them on.
