Belly to waist Ratio?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Belly to waist Ratio?

OK, I am asking for your feedback. Is there a proper Belly to waist ratio, Meaning at what point does the size of one's belly in regards to their waist deem Lycra shorts a NO GO!
I fear that I may be fast approaching this yet undertermined belly to waist ratio....Try as I may I am not losing weight ...while I look OK in work clothes sans my enormous double chin......once I do don the tights It is a scene not appropriate for children.....a bib does offer some help & support but when I sport shorts and a shirt belly flap is a major issue.....
Thanks inadvance..

If you can't see yer pecker, the ratio is too large.

(predict this thread will stoop to all time high on the BF juvenile mentality )

If you're not loosing weight, you're likely still eating too much. Record everything that you consume for a week and figure out calories. Then you'll know what your intake is. Once you know that, you'll be able to figure out how and where to cut back.

I say who cares what we think. Ride in whatever makes you comfortable and motivates you to ride enough to reduce your size.

I thought your belly was supposed to be at your waistline. Is yours someplace else?

Mine's at my waistline ... and my waist measurement is smaller than my hip measurement, so it's all good.

48, 28, 38 is what most guys want women to look like.

ideal for men you want your waste to be under 35inches and females should be under 32.5inches, otherwise you are abdominal obese and significantly increase your chances of heart disease, liver problems, or kidney problems.

I would say if not appropriate for children it isn't appropriate for anybody. But then again, you want to ride and cycling clothes are the best clothes to ride in so just wear what you want and stay away from schools.

Well you could be at a saddle point where you are at a minima along the morality axis and a maxima along the user participation axis.

I thought you were good at math.
