I too have a Zurich (2000 model - red and white) and am considering going to ti (or maybe carbon or even a carbon/ti or aluminum) for some extra stiffness given that I am riding hills a lot more where I currently live. Like you, I am very happy with the Zurich and this would be a second bike rather than a replacement. Did you consider Serotta as well as Litespeed? The new Cannondale 6-13 looks interesting also (carbon-aluminum).

I considered a lot of things, but the only 2 bikes I wanted was a TI or Carbon and since I know Ti will be here long after I and Carbon I am uncertain about I choose Ti. The reason I picked Litespeed is reputation and ride quality and not to mention they are made about 70 miles from me. I was able to ride one 28 miles on one occasion and 50 on the other and just fell in love with it.

Well I'm new and my opinion may not amount to a hill of beans but I bought a Airborne Valkyre last year and I love it. It is my first bike and the only other one I was considering was a Trek 5200 and honestly I preferred the ride of the Airborne even though the 5200 was a tad lighter... just my 2 cents :)

Congratulations on your bike and the fact you like it is all that matters. I looked at those as well, but the one thing you saw that I did is the difference in the ride between Ti and Carbon. I personally thought that Ti was a much more livelier ride.

Enjoy your bike and just ride. One thing about it when you get into the mid to high range road bikes they are all good it just boils down to preference. I hear everyone is riding Litespeed or Trek, well if they weren't good bikes nobody would be riding them.
