No brand saddle; Good or Bad
 

124g carbon saddle, but no brand. cant find info on it either...
Anyone seen a review for it, or where I can get it for less?

it's a copy of something I can't remember. It's most likely not carbon and just plastic with vinyl that looks like carbon like the other saddle that they sell.

it's from a Taiwanese manufacturer, checked on the China Trade directory.

I was considering getting one of the padded ones (with or without cutout) as a backup for my SLR.

I guess I could get the performance forte saddle that WR uses for just a little more so I might try that instead.

Sad truth is there are not too many saddle makers worldwide. Lots of OEM's by Velo and Bassano. Some of the knockoffs they make are quite good also.

sit on it. if it fits your rear then its a good saddle.

Frightening

Hmmm...... doesn't look awful. kinda like an SLR, but with a bit more drop at the nose and finishing to an odd point.

One thing, I'm not surprised there is no picture of the rail to saddle body junction, as I'd imagine that underside to be a bit messy if not frightening.

On that note, if the junction is not done properly, the stress of your weight and road imperfections might not be distributed evenly. causing high stress points on the saddle that can cause breakage.

The other aspect, the name brand saddles have undergone stress tests in labs, and road test under the most frequent and picky riders, the Pro tour riders.

All in all, You kinda get what you pay for here, a blingy carbon saddle that I fear may not hold up long, especially if you'll riding the bike hard, and/or if you a bit heavy.

I could tell you that nobody would find that comfortable, but people will try to correct me.
The profile of the saddle should either be flat, or have a slight upward sweep in the rear. There should be no lump in the middle.
It looks like a broken SLR.

Only your aasss can tell.

I have trouble seeing how it could be comfortable. If you know you have narrow sit bones it may work for you. If you know you have wide sit bones I wouldn't touch it.
