When 2 became 1 (a 7th anniversary)

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I applaud botto for being secure enough to raise awareness about this serious issue. However, I disagree that courage drives people to seek medical help; fear is what makes people seek help, and there is nothing wrong with that. Fear keeps us alive.

7 years, that's great! God knows this place wouldn't be the same had you not been around to share some great stories of racing and riding in the states and abroad, as well as driving the post count
I'll be celebrating 7 years this coming July, while not the same diagnosis, your story does bring back fond memories of fighting with insurance companies trying to get simple test like an MRI covered.
Good luck on many more years Botto!

Thanks for having the guts and the interest in others to share your story botto. Best wishes for the future. I'd miss your threads about riding in Italy; they always make me want to move to Europe!

Glad to hear you're still ticking. The 35 comment caught my eye, since I'm a bit older. I did a quick search and found this:

"... About 9 out of 10 testicular cancers occur in men between the ages of 20 and 54. But this cancer can affect males of any age, including infants and elderly men.
..."
