I have a Glider. I never quite got it to work for me although others have done well with it. I will be placing it on Ebay later this week. PM me if you have any interest in this model.

I bought a Selle SMP Strike Extra from Performance bike 5 or 6 months ago. It's the cheap (~$90-110), heavy (400g) one. I love it! Since I got the fore/aft position and tilt dialed-in, it's been the best saddle I've ever owned. The huge cut-out eliminates pressure on your soft tissue, the width is perfect for me, and there's enough padding that my sit bones don't start to ache after a couple of hours on the bike. I was tempted to try one of the more expensive models when I bought my Cervelo RS, but the Extra worked so well and was so cheap I bought another one.

I have an SMP Strike Plus, which is a little wider and has a little more padding than the Pro. I have only had it for about a month but so far it is working great.

I was having a problem with soft tissue pain and numbing with my old saddle. The SMP saddle has solved that problem. It is a tad firmer than my last saddle on the sit bones, but I seem to be adjusting to it just fine.

I too have the strike and it is without a doubt the best saddle I have owned. Very comfy on long rides and as previously stated, it really works wonders for soft tissue pain. I doubt you would be unhappy.

I have and use the composite and if you can get the fit just right it is a great saddle. Although the composite has no padding whatsoever.

I have the Glider. Its nice, although I haven't used it with just shorts yet which the extra layers do not paint the best picture. So far I like it, however, its so fricken expensive.

tried the composit for a while, initial impressions were great, but after a few hundred miles it became painfully obvious it wasn't for me. sold it, went back to my trusted Regal and have never looked back. Perhaps the more padded versions are better, but the Composit has very squared off sides, and i got the worst saddle sore i've ever had on it.

I have the Pro and like it very much. I am still working on getting the position dialed in but even still it pretty much eliminates the type of pain and or discomfort I used to experience in that 'area'.

SMP Stratos. Very good at relieving pressure and preventing numbness, but for me it's an ass hatchet. I also tried the Evolution - was the same.

Just because it costs a lot doesn't exempt it from passing the "does it fit your butt" test. Make sure whoever you buy it from is prepared to take it back if you don't like it. Or be prepared to re-sell on Ebay.

I have the Glider and it works perfectly for me. Would have liked a little more padding for the longer rides but the more padded versions are too wide. The cutout makes the saddle but the angle is critical and can take a little time to figure out.

I ride the SMP Glider.

What's got you looking at the SMP Pro over the other models?
Do you know your sit bone width?
