You do know that the ErgoSum bars are classic bend right?

I got the Ergosum Pro Alloy bars.. stupid weather has prevented any real riding but a quick jaunt on the trainer while i was setting them up already proves they are better than the Cinelli's i had on before. From Wiggle even.. good service from those folks

What do you consider classic bend? I consider round classic bend. Maybe anatomic isn't the right term...but looking at their profile it is much like the Reynolds Ouzo Pro Anatomic bars I have on my Merckx.

The ErgoSum bars would be considered shallow drop, right?

Jakedatc 01-14-09 11:58 AM

Yes. Shallow drop... so nice also has a tight bend so it's easier to reach the levers from the drops ( for me at least)
Here are mine mounted crappy cell pic

Here is what i think of when i see Anatomic .. with that straight section in the bend. but you're right.. it's not "classic" either.. 3T kinda breaks the mold and it's nice

I would call the Ergo Sum a compact bend, not classic.

+100000

Classic=round bend, either shallow or deep , a la Cinelli Models 64 and 66 respectively.

I'm not putting anything on my bike called "Rotundo" other than myself.
