I used to be tied for third on that, back when I was a procrastinatory grad student working part time as a glorified receptionist.

I'm mildly appalled Botto isn't on there anymore.

Graduate student keeping myself fed by answering phones, dishing out keys, and chasing off interlopers.

Yeah, i just didn't know if that fell under an assistantship where you went or not.
At Iowa State, they had some grad students do what you were doing but got some tuition compensation and a stipend for it.

SushiJoe 01-16-09 04:43 PM

coasting 01-16-09 04:44 PM

i'm trying.

coasting 01-16-09 04:48 PM

self employed = no one to idly chit chat with or don't want to distract employees
student = bone idle layabout needing a kick up the arse until imminent exams

SushiJoe 01-16-09 04:49 PM

sort of self employed = family business where I'm in charge of billing and finances.
sort of student = finishing a master's thesis but no classes.

neurocycler 01-16-09 04:49 PM

It could be worse.

seriously, I'm on there too? man...

ilmooz 01-16-09 05:07 PM

At least "Road Cycling" still leads "Foo", sparing these forums from becoming "The View" of cycling internet culture. Kind of.

triplebutted 01-16-09 05:09 PM

It'll be a problem if you 2 guys are posting on your Blackberry while riding.

AEO 01-16-09 05:16 PM

Foo wins in totals however!

SushiJoe 01-16-09 05:46 PM

I'm just going for consistency.

umd 01-16-09 06:06 PM

I'd post more to get my count up but it's time to go do some VO2max intervals. yay!

patentcad 01-16-09 07:12 PM
