Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The Unfathomable Demonization of Patentcad

What's with everyone bashing Pcad on this forum? Don't you realize how impressionable a guy his age is? Don't you realize the permanent damage you are causing?

Perhaps it was intentional. It fits right in this thread.

Thanks, botto!

That's one way to get rid of the advertising on this page.

I have a 30" monitor (mine's bigger than yours). I'll see how this thread looks in my office tomorrow.

Pcad is not demonized.

He is revered as a God.

(just not omnipotent)

Looks like it's time for a monitor size pissing contest.

I don't think anyone's going to beat my 30" Apple/22" Apple LCD combo in my office. That's a lotta workspace real estate. Drafting you know.

I have dual 30" cinema displays on my mac pro, but I am stepping down. I can't stand having multiple computers so I am getting rid of the pro and moving everything to my new macbook pro (500 GB hard drive and 4 GB memory) and running that on a 30". It is fine with the built-in display and the cinema display (now that the adaptor came out). My wife gets the other display for her office.

This is the wrong forum for computer pissing contests. The tech forums blow us all away.

I don't give a **** how big your monitor is. Resolution is all that matters in this case.

Monitor resolution does not vary, it is all 72 dpi.
