Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

road tire to fat wide slick

So on one bike, a '70s era 10-speed, I've got standard road tires, tread design hasn't changed for this cheap 27 x 1/4 ire. The pressure is 90 lbs. Anybody recommended a faster wide slick?

Serfas Seca is a great cheap tire otherwise the Continental Gatorskin for more money. Serfas is 18$ a tire, Continental is 45$ a pop.
