EDIT: Okay, you're in Tucson - do you start racing next month or something? I can see that, but base miles in December seems a bit late to prepare for races in February.

First real race is beginning of March. Yep definitely base miles. I was just getting ready to throw in some intervals and such. Life goes on and my sickness continues...antibiotics here I come.

What about the rest of the base miles for the first 20 days of january?
I'm not sure 1 month of riding is considered an awesome base..

If your training plan was so delicate that a couple weeks of sickness in late January will totally derail you, you probably were doing it wrong to begin with. Stuff happens.
