Anyone else getting messed around by Live Cashback?
My big purchase was not cycling related, however I know a lot of you made purchases in December using the Microsoft Live Cashback program. Well, my $200 reward hasn't been deposited yet (supposedly was due on 29th) and there are a bunch of "failed" deposits on the account now. What's lame is they blame it on Paypal, but I had several smaller transactions that went right through.
I'm smelling something fishy here.

It actually is PayPal's fault. The live.com site posted that they made several attempts to deposit for a couple of days and then I got it after all that. When I actually got the funds, the live.com site didn't reflect that I had received the funds for a while.
Anyone who has dealt with PayPal more than casually know that they pull some pretty screwy stuff on consumers. Also keep in mind that eBay/PayPal was responsible for most of the Cashback process. All Microsoft did was set the rates and pay the cashback.
Keep in mind that Microsoft is using MassPay so they've already paid the full amount of money to PayPal for this payment cycle, leaving them responsible for distributing the funds to the right people.

I have received about $300 from Live.net. The last $30 payment is showing a few failed attempts but I'm not too worried. They have already paid me so I assume they will take care of this (whoever the responsibility rests with).

Forgot to add, the payment that was getting failed attempts was for $7.81. I got a cashback for more than $100 a couple of days ago without a problem. My total for the gig is around $700 in cashback and I haven't had any real problems with them at all.
