No good. It will always slip, and when it slips, it will leave the most insidious goo all over everything. He'll never get it off. Every post ever inserted into the seat tube from that point forward will also get goo on it. The goo will still be there long after the frame material reaches it's half life.

Nice. I was considering those and/or the new white Carnac. However, I could not find anyone that could tell me how narrow or wide either was compared to SIDI. I need much wider than normal SIDI.

The stem and saddle are just placeholders right now.
3t pro stem (for the whiteness, though I'm stealing the bolts from my 3t team stem, so same as 3t team. Ti bolts are the only difference), 3t rotundo bars. Black fizik tape. Toupe saddle.
Otherwise, all SRAM Force but with Sram Red shifters. The black/white Force will look sweet. Not getting it for the colors, but that doesn't hurt.
