Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Very cool, "be seen light" ...cheap and small ...uses small "watch" batteries.

A nice headlight is cool but in the city with streetlights they don't do much and most are bulky stuffed with AA batteries. An actual headlight that works is expensive.

If you want to be seen ...this is the light.

Early birthday gift from my wonderful girlfriend. I haven't even had it on the road yet due to this never-ending Canadian winter. I am stoked to ride this baby!

Cheers,

Yeah. I wasn't planning on buying until I got my tax return back, but I couldn't pass up that price. Picked up a cheap PC1090R chain on that order, too.

2010 Campagnolo Athena (Ultra-Torque cranks) with the 2011 shifters (alloy levers instead of the 'carbon wrapped' 2010 versions).

Of course, the bike all this is going to hang on is likely 7-12months out.

Hi Namenda,

They are Reynolds MV32ULC wheels. I removed the large decals because I prefer a simpler look for the wheels.

Torm T4 Sportwool Jersey -

Just got a shipping notification. I have high hopes that it's near-Rapha in terms of quality while less than 1/2 the price.

I have the same wheels. Awesome wheels overall.

What length valve stem do you have? Looks like it sticks out of the rim plenty. I'm running the stock inner tubes that came with my R3 and Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels. The valve stem sticks out just enough to pump up the tires, but I'd like them a little longer to make it easier. Yours look a little long, however. Something in between would be ideal.

A pair of Hutchinson Fusion 3 and a sealant injector.

Now if only spring would arrive.

It's a generic brand inner tube from the LBS. 60mm long valve, 88 grams.

So my hardtail has been kicking my ass on long rides. My obsession with beer led to me to believe I have a lot of disposable income. So after trying 6 or so bikes, I got this tonight. Bear in mind I have not yet been fitted. Hoping to hit the trails tomorrow.

That's a sexy looking machine robncircus. Not gonna lie, I'm a little jealous!

Let us know how the trail/trial run goes tomorrow.

To match the bars (still need a Pro LT stem to go with it):

To be able to drink in sort-of-style again, two of these to replace my bent (had a crash) carbon-look ones:
