Mt Baker Ski Area in Washngton State, Mt Shuksan in the background.
The snowpack is still pretty deep up on top.

RE: Mt Baker - awesome!!! I bet the plow operators found that snow stake really useful.. ;D

I'm going to be right near there on a bike tour in September. I'll see if I can fit in a side trip.

Sorry for the threadjack, carry on.

Pretty much any well-stocked Specialized dealer will carry those. They do secure a bottle well (Camelbak Podiums, at least).

http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=204903It's awesome. Keeps my water cold the entire ride. Camelbak FTW!

PIcked up a pair of 700x25 Maxis kevlar belted tires in an effort to address my 14yo's one-flat-a-ride habit. The depth and breadth of debris I've picked outta her tires... sheesh! :)

Found another bike over the weekend, another one of those "I rode it three times and didn't like biking so I stored it" finds. This one is a 84 Fuji Club and it looks 9 out of 10, even the original tires are still on the bike, I know their original because the Fuji listed that tire as the original for that bike, and they still look new after all those years!? How is that possible? I don't know but they are. I paid $100 for this one. Here is exactly how it looks: http://classicfuji.com/1984_10_ClubFuji_Page.htm

I only buy these bikes if they look good and fit, I don't resell them because I don't have the time to mess around with all that crap.

Never quite understood which marketing genius came up with that name for a tire.

robncircus 06-08-11 01:15 PM

Stuff for the "other" bike.

Got this for $15. Looking to try a shorter stem and a lower bar position.

New pedals, Not super light, but lighter than my current pedals and still have a little bit of platform.

New gloves.
