$30 Park Home Repair Stand PCS-1. SCORE!!!
It is an olive color which must mean it is a few years old. Clamp works great. After I used it today to adjust the front derailleur, it made me faster! I beat my world record to the top of Emigration Canyon by 4 minutes. http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/.../ParkStand.jpg |
LG Baselayer for $20.00. I got the last one in my size.

Clear frame and photochromic lenses. Fit great, sweat runs off away from lenses, but the frames are a bit heavier than I'm used to. Like it a lot so far. Fit me far better than the other 11 models of Oakleys I tried before I bought these!!! |
Just bought another set of Kenda Kaliente tires for my Spinergy wheels I train on. The last set lasted a real long time, 3000-3500miles ride better, than the Krylions I have on my other bike that is my primary training bike. I think these are my new go to training tire. They also weigh just over 200g each.

I ordered another mini pump, a Topeak Road Morph with the small built in gauge from Performance Bike for $25. I'll try that one out and compare it with my other pumps, a SKS Raceday Carbon, and a Lezyne Road Drive. The Topeak is the cheapest of the three, but I'll have to wait for it since it's on backorder.
Soloist Assassin; I use the Kenda Konstrictor tires and like them way better then Conti 4000s. One of the Kenda sets now have 2000 miles and still look great and no flats. I bought 4 pairs of these when I got a closeout for $18 a piece. Now if I can just get some Latex tubes on closeout. |

Scott S60 Speedster off Craigslist for my 17yo daughter who needed a road bike so's she could keep up with her reincarnation-of-Jeannie-Longo little sister. :-) Bike's got a couple scuff marks and it'll need a new chain before long but other than that it's in pretty good shape, and it fits my teeny teenager like the proverbial cycling glove. Yeah! :) |

Now ... why did I purchase this? Oh yeah, it was the last one in my size that they had. Just missed the red/black/white one they were selling by a day. that's what one gets by thinking about a purchase for several weeks before jumping. Now, I'm stuck with a "blue/white/black" Pinarello. How un-Italian is that? It's like having a Bianchi in any color other than Celeste. |

Ah, my Performance order came in yesterday...
http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=211326 Set of Performance Forte Strada K kevlar-belted tires to replace my grudgingly-gotten Contis, which have proven to be impervious to absolutely NOTHING found on the roads around here, and are wearing out (sidewall cords are starting to show and fray). I *really* wanted my beloved Avocets, but apparently their tires are no longer available, alas. A local roadie whose opinion I greatly respect very highly praised these for an all-around riding/training tire for next to no money. Works for me! http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=211327 Picked up a longer stem for my 14yo's bike, which with the acquisition of a bike for the 17yo is now redundant (I can just swap the stems on the two bikes and get both girls better fits). http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=211329 Here's what drove the order - a shiny new Giro Stylus. I've been wearing the same Prolight (with the fabric covers!) for 23 years now. My wife has been ragging on me to get a new brain bucket since the foam *does* age and lose its effectiveness as the years go by. http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=211330 Got a pair of shorts for my 17yo, which naturally turned out to be the wrong size. We're going to Hotlanta next week so I'll swap the shorts and take the now-superfluous stem back. |

My new helmet has arrived! LAS Squalo 2.2 White/Silver/Carbon.
Took it for a 25 miler this morning and my initial reaction is I'm ecstatic. Helmet fits perfectly, the retention system is awesome, and the helmet vents WAY better than my old Bell. Weight is good too, as it disappeared on my head like a good helmet should. So far I'm happy! |
sorry for big pictures, just took them off the website

Zitter, how you like Capo? I am in dire need of a full closet of clothes
|
My first Capo kit was my team kit from school which fit me perfectly and I couldn't be happier with it except I didn't care for the silicon leg grippers too much. My second Capo kit was the Verona from Bonktown with the compression bands which I really liked so I decided to do a special order for myself since I get really good pricing. Hopefully I won't need to buy more for a while. The chamois is very nice and padded plus the fabrics are great; they're very breathable and hold up well. The jerseys fit me like a glove as opposed to the Castelli stuff I tried which was pretty loose in the body and tight in the chest and bunched up so that was a no brainer for me.

(Well) used 61cm Fuji Team Issue Frame. Mid 2000's. (that's both the year and original retail price.)
My LBS owner gave me an "oh, what the hell we've had this sitting around forever" price of $100. First CF bike. And I have a groupset and wheels waiting for a frame! http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...h_DSC06719.jpg |
HED Jet6 and Jet9 wheels. Maybe ill be lucky and they will be in before the weekend.
